As 2024 fast approaches, the search for unique wedding gifts and favours has been an emerging trend. But what about something different for the wedding couple? Forget dinnerware or a new toaster, how about a unique present that captures the essence of their special day. Something so personal you know that no one else will ever have something exactly the same.
Welcome Flower Preservation!
A trend that is on the rise, brides preserving their bouquets is something I am getting enquiries for more and more as they are looking to encapsulate their wedding day in a beautiful piece of art! But it doesn’t need to stop at bouquets, why not preserve the groom’s buttonholes, mother’s corsages, or any sentimental wedding flowers that felt extra special?

Wedding Flower Preservation is on the Rise
I employ meticulous techniques to preserve your flowers to maintain their delicate shapes and gorgeous colours. The two primary methods I use are pressing, or drying 3-dimensionally in silica gel. Once preserved, your wedding flowers are thoughtfully arranged in a bespoke frame crafted by local framers here in Somerset.
The process is takes time and can’t be rushed, each bloom carefully dismantled before being preserved in your chosen method, then re-arranged to form your work of art, keeping your wedding day memories alive.
What makes this gift so truly special is how it encapsulates the love and joy of your special day in a tangible form, transporting you back to your wedding day in an instant. The perfect way to cherish your memories.

A Bespoke Wedding Present with a Personal Touch
The one caveat for this wedding present is that you will need to give it to your couple before their wedding day! I like to start the preservation process as soon as possible for the best results, preferably the day after their wedding.
So, in a world of mass produced gifts, give something artisanal and unique, reflecting the couples individuality. Each flower preservation piece is a labour of love and crafted with the wedding couple in mind.

Time is of the essence
So, as you ponder over the perfect wedding gift for friends and family getting married in 2024 (or beyond) consider an experience that transcends the ordinary – a timeless keepsake they can cherish for years to come.
And, if you would love your wedding flowers looked after from start to finish, I also craft beautifully bespoke wedding flowers for your big day. I use British flowers and eco-friendly materials to create a bespoke landscape that tells your love story, all whilst keeping sustainability in mind as well as other local businesses.
