What makes my floral preservation artwork different?
Hi, I’m Esme, and I take the utmost care of your flowers. Being the only preservation artists to offer collection and delivery* from my studio in Somerset means you can relax the morning after your wedding day knowing your flowers are well taken care of, without you having to lift a finger.
I meticulously photograph your arrangements before carefully deconstructing and pressing or 3D drying your flowers. And I work with Wax Fine Art Framing in Somerset to produce exquisite, contemporary frames that compliment and enhance every single petal.
I create each piece of artwork in the order I receive the flowers, current wait time is approximately 6 months.
Once your flowers have finished drying, I will be in touch to confirm your choice of frame size and style, and send you a mock up to sign off before fixing your flowers in place.

auty, and to achieve this your frame needs to be up to the job.I have teamed up with Wax Fine Art Framers for handmade, museum-grade, quality frames. Your flowers are mounted on an acid-free cotton backboard, behind UV-protected, non-reflective glass, fully sealed and hung using a French-cleat system for artwork that neatly sits flush against your wall.
Unlike many modern frames that rely on clip fixings that do not give a 100% seal and can allow moisture and dust in; and Perspex fronts that yellow over time as well as scratch easily, attract dust, and do not protect your flowers from loosing their colour; our artwork has been crafted with your flowers and their longevity in mind, giving you a visually stunning display you will love for many years to come.

You get the final say
This is your artwork, to hang in your home, so it is crucial you love your final piece.
I’ll discuss your styling preferences with you, offering as much advice as you need to choose the perfect creation that works with the blooms in your bouquet and the frame that suits not just your flowers but your home too.
And I create mock up designs for you to sign off before fixing anything in place, ensuring you receive the perfectly bespoke piece only you will own.

- You contact me here, we have a quick chat and get you booked in, the deposit to secure your date is just £100.
- I collect your flowers from you the day after your wedding or event, allowing you to relax knowing everything is taken care of without lifting a finger.
(- Collection is subject to advance booking of at least 2 weeks, last minute bookings are welcome but will require you to deliver or post your flowers to me.

Once dried we will discuss styling options and you will be provided with a mock up design to sign off before I fix anything in place.

Colour Refresh For Your Framed Flowers
Bring the colours in your floral artwork back to life.
Your flowers will be beautifully preserved for a lifetime, holding their shape and texture.
As a natural product, pigments in your gracefully ageing flowers can break down over time, so we offer a colour restoration service.
£250
(Full payment due on booking, please bring your frame to the studio and collect from the studio upon completion).
Payment Schedules:
- £100 is due upon booking, and taken off the final bill
- 50% of the total frame is due after we have signed off your design, approx 3-4 months after your wedding day
- Final amount is due when your frame is completed, before delivery
Collection and Delivery:
- I will collect your flowers from you the day after your wedding, and deliver your completed frame back to you inclusive of the price of your frame, within the pink outlined area on the map below.
- Collection of your flowers is subject to advance booking of at least two weeks. After this date you will need to deliver your flowers to my studio, or post them to me – full instructions will be provided.
- If you live outside of the pink outlined area, you can choose from one of 7 drop off/collection points:

Meet Esme
Hi, I’m Esme, and I love tea – that’s the first and most important thing you need to know about me.
The next thing is that I love to dance; I am a lifelong tap and ballet dancer and, when I am not thinking about how to make your wedding flowers and planning experience even more incredible, I am twirling away in the kitchen (and now enjoying this with my daughter too).
I never persued dance professionally; I’m not really beautifully elegant or balletic in stature because I am from the Somerset Shire and made of stocky stuff, but this makes me perfect for lugging heavy flowers into gorgeous designs at your wedding – and these really do feel beautiful and elegant.
You may hear a lot of waffle about how your wedding isn’t a show, it’s all about telling your personal love story in the most unassuming way.
But I disagree.
Dance has hugely inspired my creative approach weddings as I do believe the set designs that tell stories on stage align quite nicely with how we design and set up your wedding decor.
We are telling the story of how your lives became intertwined to your guests (aka audience) after all.
So, if you are a Wildly Creative Couple who wants to tell your story through the medium of dance… No, no, no, not that sorry! I am not going to make you dance… Through the medium of flowers and setting the romantic scene of you two coming together for all to watch, then get in touch! We’re going bold with this.

FAQs
When do I need to book in my flowers for preserving?
Ideally, as soon as you know you’d like them preserved. We take a limited number of arrangements per year, to allow us to devote the care and attention to each piece of art, and spaces do book up fast. However, if you got married yesterday please do check in to see if we have space – we will always take late bookings if we have availability.
How does the collection of my flowers and the delivery of my frame work?
Book 2 weeks or more before your wedding day, and I will collect your flowers from you at your venue, as a complimentary service. When your frame is complete, I will bring your frame back to you at home (collection and delivery are subject to distance, the details can be found here, if you live beyond this area you can choose from a selection of pick up points).
How long will my flowers last?
With proper care and handling, your preserved flowers will last a lifetime – once dried, they will maintain their shape and texture.
As a natural product the colour of your flowers will fade over time, this happens with all dried flowers and it reflects the beautiful aging process of a natural, living product.
We use UV protected glass which helps slow this process down, and we would expect colour to last 2 – 5 years. Sunlight will break down the pigments in the colour, even with UV glass, and the speed of this can vary depending on the type and colour of the flower.
If, after this time, you would like the colours of your flowers corrected, we offer a colour correction service here.
Why are you more expensive than other flower preservation services?
We charge a fair price that ensure everyone involved in the preservation and framing process is paid fairly. The preservation and art creation process is lengthy and we offer additional services such as phone calls and mock ups, to ensure you love the final design. The frames themselves are of the highest quality and thus, do cost more. You can find out more about this here.
How long does it take to preserve and frame my flowers?
From start to finish it usually takes around 6 months, when there are no delays in communication from the customer. If it takes a few weeks for us to recieve a response, the completion time of your frame will reflect this. Creating your frame is not an overnight process, and each stage can take a couple of weeks to complete.
