Hi, I’m Esme.

As is so often the case in any creative industry, I delved into the world of floristry when I could stand to look at a computer screen no longer.

It did not take me long, however, to discover the horror that is pesticide filled flowers and the damaging effects this has on our bodies and our planet. After loosing my beautiful sister, Fiona, to breast cancer in 2020, and becoming a little too conscious about harmful products, it was a simple decision for me to make:

I will exclusively use locally and organically grown, British flowers. For my sake, the planets’ sake, your sake, and especially your naked flower covered wedding cake’s sake – no one wants to eat cake dripping in chemicals.

Along the way I have found that I also gain immense joy in learning all about your stories as well, and get super excited at designing floral concepts with couples who have incredibly creative visions. They don’t always realise how creative they are, but I can hear it their delighted voices, picking up on little hints at their personalities and loves, and I will hear it in yours too.

Living on the Dorset border, I am a strong English Breakfast tea addict, but I’ll occasionally drink a delicious cup of coffee too. So with this in mind, let’s not waste another moment – contact me here to start our blooming journey together.

FAQs

How do I enquire?By clicking right here, I can’t wait!
Do you have a minimum spend? No minimum spend, we should all have beautiful British flowers to hold on our wedding day.
Do British flowers last as long as imported?Longer I’d say, and so do my couples who have come back after their weddings to tell me so.
Do you charge delivery and labour costs?I don’t in my Fairy Tale Package, to keep things really simple all my costs are calculated into the prices of the floral arrangements.
Unfortunately, it is not cost effective with smaller packages and so we do charge delivery for smaller budgets.
What areas to you cover?Somerset, Wiltshire, Dorset, Bath and Bristol
I’m having a winter wedding, what flowers are available then?Working with the seasons means you’ll have the very best that works wonderfully with the time of year you are getting married. I’ll use foliage in a range on incredible colours, berries, branches, and the British flowers that are blooming (yes, we do have them – narcissi, tulips, chrysanthemums for example). And, of course, stunning dried flowers, the whole range. With enough notice, I can dry anything you want.
The best bit about dried flowers? Your wedding flowers are already preserved and ready to be kept forever.
What happens to my flowers after my wedding? They are yours to keep, if you’d like to, perhaps friends and family would like to take posies home to enjoy as well?
Everything else I will collect the day after and transform into other beauties or compost responsibly.
Do you use plastic? No single use plastics. I’m probably one of the only florists you’ll meet who can proudly say they don’t throw anything in the bin after clearing down a wedding. And no floral foam!
I want my flowers preserved but I am having all white flowers, will this work?Absolutely. No matter what colour flower, we cannot guarantee they will keep their exact original colour, and the same goes for white flowers. Some stay beautifully white while others yellow a tad. I say don’t worry about it, they will still look stunning.
Can you collect my flowers to preserve? Our flower preservation packages include collection and delivery, provided they have been booked in advance. If you got married yesterday and want to save your flowers, please do get in touch – we’d love to help if we have space – but we cannot guarantee we will be able to collect at such short notice.
