Flower Preservation

Your British Blooms Transformed Into Eternal Fine Art

Flowers are fleetingly beautiful, which is part of their charm. They teach us to indulge in the moment and treasure every experience. The most important flowers you will ever hold, however, deserve to be immortalised in an exclusive work of art to be cherished for generations to come.

When the day is done and the dust has settled, we quietly keep alive the magic of your day by preserving your wedding flowers, right here in Somerset, and transforming them into a unique, celebratory creation only you will own.

Taking the utmost care of your flowers, we are the only preservation artists to offer collection and delivery* from our studio in Somerset, meaning you can relax the morning after your wedding day knowing your flowers are well taken care of, without you having to lift a finger.

We meticulously photograph your arrangements before carefully deconstructing and pressing or 3D drying your flowers. And we work with Wax Fine Art Framing in Somerset to produce exquisite, contemporary frames that compliment and enhance every single petal.

We create each piece of artwork in the order we receive the flowers, current wait time is approximately 5 months, but could take a little longer. Once ready, we will be in touch to confirm your choice of size and style, and send you a mock up to sign off before fixing your flowers in place.

What makes The Honey Seeker Floral Preservation artwork different?

Artwork that truly lasts a lifetime

We believe your wedding flowers should bring you endless joy with their beauty, and to achieve this your frame needs to be up to the job.

We have teamed up with Wax Fine Art Framers for handmade, museum-grade, quality frames. Your flowers are mounted on an acid-free cotton backboard, behind UV-protected, non-reflective glass, fully sealed and hung using a French-cleat system for artwork that neatly sits flush against your wall.

Unlike many modern frames that rely on clip fixings that do not give a 100% seal and can allow moisture and dust in; and Perspex fronts that yellow over time as well as scratch easily, attract dust, and do not protect your flowers from loosing their colour; our artwork has been crafted with your flowers and their longevity in mind, giving you a visually stunning display you will love for many years to come.

You get the final say

This is your artwork, to hang in your home, so it is crucial you love your final piece.

We discuss your styling preferences with you, offering as much advice as you need to choose the perfect creation that works with the blooms in your bouquet and the frame that suits not just your flowers but your home too.

And we create mock up designs for you to sign off before we fix anything in place, ensuring you receive the perfectly bespoke piece only you will own.

My Story

Hi, I’m Esme, founder of The Honey Seeker Floral Design and lead floral artist behind your wedding flower displays.

As is so often the case, I delved into the world of floristry when I could stand to look at a computer screen no longer.
I have always been a creative soul and in 2017 attended a floristry talk where something just clicked and I knew this was where I needed to be. I haven’t looked back since.

Although I adore playing with fresh flowers, my love of pressed flower artwork has always lingered in the background and I knew this had to be incorporated into my business somehow. I added this service in 2023 and it has truly taken off in a way I could never have expected.

I love being able to give your cherished wedding florals a new lease of life, bringing you renewed joy long after the buzz of planning your wedding has settled. These are truly unique pieces of artwork.

As a lifelong ballet and tap dancer, I adore bold colours and plenty of sparkle, as well as creative set designs and outfits that tell the world who we are. The flowers at your wedding and beyond set the scene and I am here to tell your story through floral concepts that tell your story, all with the finest locally sourced ingredients.

Living in the heart of Somerset, I love the outdoors and muddy strolls with my dog Bronson, and am a strong English Breakfast tea addict. So with this in mind, let’s not waste another moment – contact me here to start our blooming journey together.

FAQs

How do I enquire?By clicking right here, I can’t wait!
Do you have a minimum spend? No minimum spend, we should all have beautiful British flowers to hold on our wedding day.
Do British flowers last as long as imported?Longer I’d say, and so do my couples who have come back after their weddings to tell me so.
Do you charge delivery and labour costs?I don’t, to keep things really simple all my costs are calculated into the prices of the floral arrangements.
What areas to you cover?Somerset, Wiltshire, Dorset, Bath and Bristol
I’m having a winter wedding, what flowers are available then?Working with the seasons means you’ll have the very best that works wonderfully with the time of year you are getting married. I’ll use foliage in a range on incredible colours, berries, branches, and the British flowers that are blooming (yes, we do have them – narcissi, tulips, chrysanthemums for example). And, of course, stunning dried flowers, the whole range. With enough notice, I can dry anything you want.
The best bit about dried flowers? Your wedding flowers are already preserved and ready to be kept forever.
What happens to my flowers after my wedding? They are yours to keep, if you’d like to, perhaps friends and family would like to take posies home to enjoy as well?
Everything else I will collect the day after and transform into other beauties or compost responsibly.
Do you use plastic? No single use plastics. I’m probably one of the only florists you’ll meet who can proudly say they don’t throw anything in the bin after clearing down a wedding.
I want my flowers preserved but I am having all white flowers, will this work?Absolutely. No matter what colour flower, we cannot guarantee they will keep their exact original colour, and the same goes for white flowers. Some stay beautifully white while others yellow a tad. I say don’t worry about it, they will still look stunning.
