To The Honey Seeker Floral Design and Flower Preservation

Hello!
I am beyond thrilled to be preserving your wedding flowers!
You are now officially on The Honey Seeker journey and I hope you enjoy every moment working together.
This welcome pack is here to help you feel calm, clear, and (most importantly) excited for the magic ahead.
From now until you walk into your flower-filled space, I’ll be your guide, your creative partner, and your floral champion.
Warmest wishes,
Esme x

What to expect from here…
- Now – You relax. I’ll take it from here!
You’ll receive an email from me in the month before your wedding, to touch base and to confirm the details of me collecting your flowers (if booked in advance) - The day after your wedding – I’ll collect your flowers in the morning, bring them back to the studio ready for preserving, and you’ll receive a message letting you know everything is in hand.
- 1 month after your wedding – I’ll be in touch to let you know everything is drying nicely.
- 2 months after – Your flowers will be fully dried and read for their mock-up. I’ll arrange a catch up with you to discuss the size and style of your frame and the layout of your flowers.
Once you have signed off your mock-up you’ll be asked to pay 50% of the frame you have chosen. - The delivery – Creating your finished floral frame can take a few weeks to a few months, and I’ll provide updates as we go. Upon completion you’ll be asked to pay the remaining amount due on your frame and then we’ll arrange delivery of your bespoke artwork for you to enjoy for a lifetime!
(If you live beyond 40 miles of BA10 we can arrange to meet somewhere, I can deliver to a nominated address for you to collect from, or I can deliver further for a small charge).
You’ll hear from me periodically, but I’m always here if you need anything sooner – just pop me an email at esme@thehoneyseeker.co.uk
The Edit List
Never wonder how your flowers are doing – you can check here any time to see where your flowers are in the framing queue.
The full process takes 4-6 months and the summer months are incredibly busy for me (especially as I do weddings flowers as well) meaning framing times may be at the longer end of this timeline.
Please do reply to my messages as soon as you can, delays in communication may mean another frame gets my focus first to keep the queue moving.

Your story dances in the details…
Every bouquet tells a story — a rhythm, a feeling, a season captured in petals.
Whether your flowers were wildly romantic, softly nostalgic, or joyfully unexpected, this is where we begin to shape their next chapter.
Together, we’ll explore the colours, textures, and forms that mattered most on your day — weaving them into a bespoke frame design that feels like you. Your ideas, your personalities, your memories — they all belong here.
This isn’t about simply pressing and placing flowers. It’s about creating an heirloom that holds meaning, movement, and beauty — something you’ll treasure every time you glance at it.
Over the coming weeks, I’ll guide you through the preservation and design process, offering creative options, thoughtful advice, and gentle expertise, so your flowers become a lasting work of art — a joy-filled reminder of your wedding day.
Now it’s your turn.
These simple prompts are here to help you reflect on what you really want your frame to capture.
You don’t need to fill them, just ponder and bring those thoughts to our design catch up when your flowers are dried and ready for their mock-up.
What matters most about your flowers – capturing a replica of your bouquet, or is it more important to capture and essence or feeling of your wedding day?
What elements do you want to pull through from your wedding day?
(We cant include anything you want, ribbons, sentimental pieces, stationery, part of your dress…let your imagine run free)
What impression is your frame going to give in your home – a nod to you day, or a grand statement?
What size would you like your frame to be, the background colour, the frame surround colour?
(You may take inspiration from your home décor – do you have all wooden frames, or coloured frames, you don’t have to stick with black or white)
Your next steps
There really isn’t much to do right now, but between now and our design catch up you can think about:
Floral Layout

Bouquet recreation or a deconstructed bouquet? Perhaps a wild meadow that fills the frame? And other elements you’d like to include.
Frame Size

We offer 3 standard sizes:
– 30cm X 30cm for your key blooms
-40cm x 50cm for your full bouquet (and our most popular)
– 50cm x 70cm for a true statement piece
– A collection of frames
– a bespoke frame to fit your home perfectly
Frame Colours

The backboard: classic warm white, ever in style, or a colour to contrast and compliment your flowers?
The frame surround: Natural wood, white, black, or a colour?

Let’s make this seamless
Can I change my mind on the flower frame designs?
Absolutely. Everything is flexible – in fact, you do not need to decide on your layout or frame size until our design chat about 2 months after your wedding. I will be in touch when it’s time to book this in.
When and how can I contact you?
You can contact me any time by email at:
esme@thehoneyseeker.co.uk
and I will respond within 48 hours (Mon-Fri). Weekends are often busy times in the wedding industry and responses may be slower.
How long does it take?
Generally the process takes 4 – 6 months in total. If I have collected your flowers over the summer please do allow the full 6 months as it is a much busier time for me.
I work with a local fine art framer so I also need to consider and work to his timescales, please just bear this in mind.
Delays are sometimes inevitable (life happens) and I always communicate if they are due to circumstances relating to myself or my framer.
If it has not been more than 4-6 months however, please try not to chase, everything is in hand and you will recieve your frame in the above timeline.
Worth Noting: if you take a long time (weeks or more – it happens) responding to my communications this will result in your frame taking longer to complete. I have lots of orders to work through and so will move onto the next frame in the queue if I have not heard from you.
Do you accept credit card payments?
While I can accept credit card payments, I would really really prefer a bank transfer. Credit cards incur a processing fee which is not added to your final bill but may impact how much time I can invest in the process.
When do I need to make payments?
You pay £100 to reserve your preservation spot before I take your flowers. This is taken off the final bill.
2 month’s after your wedding we will discuss your mock-up and, on deciding the frame size, I will ask you to pay 50% of this frame. This must be paid before I can order your frame.
On completion of your frame I will ask for any remaining amount due before I deliver your frame back to you.
For example:
If you choose a 40cm x 50cm frame at £587 you will pay:
£100 reservation fee up front
£293 when you sign off your mock-up
£194 on completion, just before delivery
Collection and delivery within 40 miles of BA10 is included in the price.

Thank you
To us, you’re not just a booking, you’re part of a creative journey that I pour my whole heart into.
I can’t wait to see everything unfold.
